Double-Belled Euphonium Sing-Along
Double-Belled Euphonium Sing-Along
Double-belled Euphonium, juggling balls
2019

While a resident at Monson Arts, I met residency director Dan Bouthot. We developed a juggling act and euphonium playing/juggling performance that we performed at a local bar in Monson, ME during an open mic night. On a visit to the Monson Historical Society, I became enamored with a double-belled euphonium that was an artifact of Monson’s former community band. When the Monson historian Glenn Poole learned that I was a trombone player, he allowed me to borrow the horn. On the evening of the performance, Glenn shared the history of the horn with the audience.
